At the End of the Summer You Could Be A Guitar Player!

For those of you that have time off this Summer (no school, yay) I want to talk to you about this. Think about this… you get a guitar and some lessons, you practice all Summer. And, when you go back to school your answer to the question, “What did you do this Summer?” won’t be “Nothing.” This time you could answer, “I learned to play the guitar!

Now, that will impress your friends, your teachers, your parents – it will even impress yourself! And I want to recommend a great course (which will save you from hiring a private teacher). Having your lessons on DVDs allows you to practice without being on the internet, and you don't have to take the time to download anything. There is a good review about this course - it's called Learn and Master Guitar (just follow that link to read the review). The Learn and Master course will help you learn either acoustic or electric guitar. If you like online video courses and want to learn the acoustic guitar, read about another course: Jamorama Acoustic Guitar. Pick up tips and get inspired from the online guitar players who have shared their videos and tutorials. A site I like for that is Guitar Lessons For Beginners.

So, you probably doubt that you could learn to play the guitar in just one summer. Not everyone learns to play the guitar over night, but you really can learn in a month or so. There is plenty of time to learn to play the guitar if you use the Summer break (and practice as much as you can).

Next, I'd like to talk to any parents with kids that are possibly going to have some free time this Summer. You might worry every summer about keeping your kids interested in something besides TV and video games (or just sleeping all day). I hope you will consider helping your child get a guitar course to encourage them to use their time off from school to learn something really awesome that will be of value to them for their entire life. One course could be used by the whole family - so parents and grandparents could learn to play guitar, too! This course makes a great gift, or you might make it a privelege or reward that is earned by your kids if they do certain chores or accomplish some task you asked of them. This course, should a grandparent or parent help to purchase it, comes with a 60-day risk free guarantee.

I just want to tell everyone how great it is that when I was young, my parents helped me get guitar lessons and learning to play is the best thing I've ever – I am so glad I am a guitar player! I may not be a famous music star, but I get so much enjoyment out of playing. So, think about it - really think about it - you could become a guitar player this Summer. Who knows, you might form a band over the next year and have gigs to play next Summer!
