Epitomising the very best in acoustic guitar manufacturing techniques, the Cort Earth Grand is the finest example of superb quality. The grand concert body style of the guitar is slightly smaller than the classic dreadnought style of guitar. It's unique sound characteristic is a warm, deep-bottom feel and a nice even tone across the audio spectrum, coming from the use of carefully selected timbers. It has a solid Sitka spruce top and mahogany back, sides and neck. Superior strength at the neck joint is achieved with dovetailing. It has no scratch plate, but that gives the guitar a certain symmetry and does not detract from the its good looks.

The bracing on the Earth series guitars has been carefully scalloped to provide superbly rich tone with the classic 'bang' of vintage acoustics from the golden age of guitar building.

A lot of guitars in this price range seem to try a bit too hard but you won't find that with the Earth Grand. It just comes across as a very well made, nice sounding guitar that will grow on you for many years to come. Are you a picker or a strummer?
