Music Legend Puts On Memorable Two-Hour Show
About 5,000 whooping and grinning Four Corners residents of all ages heard country music icon Willie Nelson and his Family, including sister Bobbie on piano, play for about two hours Sunday night at a nearly packed McGee Park Convention Center.
Yipping, clapping and singing along, the all-ages crowd participated heavily in the high-energy gem of a concert that featured all the modern-day hallmarks of Austin, Texas's high-profile musician — the man who calls himself the nation's "Native Son," seeming to weave himself into the lyrics of Arlo Guthrie's "City of New Orleans" song.
